STILL WORRIED?

What a week! Did you know that at the beginning of this week I had so many deadlines, meetings, appointments and travels that I didn’t even know if I’d be able to do a third of it!
I’m just sitting here taking stock and thinking, wow! What a faithful God!

Are you like me sometimes? Do you worry and fret about how you’d manage your schedules? How you’d manage with so little sleep? How you’d pull through with so much to do and so little time?

Maybe you or someone you know worry about the future, tomorrow, next week, next month, or even next year; what’s going to become of my job? What’s going to become of the mortgage? How will I be able to afford it? What will happen to my children? How will I be able to produce the same level of performance all the time? What will become of my business, my marriage?

Well, if you’re reading it and you know someone who does, or if it’s even you, it’s okay to feel that way. It’s okay to worry too, sometimes, it’s probably a sign that you’re alive because we would always have something to worry about.
Ask the mum, a dad, a son, a daughter, a grandad, a grand mum, an employee, an employer, everybody….. It’s the same everywhere.

But why worry when you can’t change a thing?
The reason we worry is because we don’t have faith in tomorrow.
The reason we fret is because we fear what may never even happen.
The reason we worry is because we are not in control of the unknown.

So what should you do when you start to worry next time?
I have good news for you….

“For his eyes are upon the ways of a man, and he sees all his steps” (Job 34:21)
“He will go before you and level the mountains” (Is 45:2)

God has brought down all those giants you’re having nightmares about. He has levelled all those mountains that stand between you and your destiny.
He is your security detail and He has His eyes fixed upon you that he will not let anything take you out before your time.
Like a person watching a movie intently, God’s eyes are always on you and He sees the next bend even though you can’t see it.

He has THE solution you’ve never thought about, and THE answer your worrying can never bring bout.
He has DESIGNED your tomorrow even in your yesterday and every step you take, He takes with you
Next time you worry, remember that God is always present all the way, even when you don’t know where and when to turn.
Still worrying about IT? Don’t worry because Ultimately this one too will pass and then you’ll understand ‘why’ and appreciate God’s solution. He is always able. Have a fabulous weekend.
